On 22nd February 2010, the lodge was visited by 4 Provincial Grand Masters. Our own PGM, Bro. Alastair Henderson headed a deputation accompanied by Bro. James Miller Provincial Grand Master of Renfrewshire West, Bro. David Reid Provincial Grand Master of Renfrewshire East and Bro. David Bloomfield Provincial Grand Master of Kilwinning. The main reason for the visit was followimng certain members of 219 raising money for the Marcus Humphtry House by running the Glasgow 10k in 2009. Bro. David Reid Provincial Grand Master of Renfrewshire East said a few words on behalf of the Friends Group at Marcus Humphrey House and thanked the brethren of the Glasgow Star Lodge for the donation made, and in particular to IPM Bro. James T. McCallum for the part he played. |
